Gribble, father of Rosie Gribble. Married at the residence of the bride's parents on 5 July 1887 by Rev. R.F. Beavers. Recorded 11 Jul 1887 at Keytesville by B.F. Crawley.

2.  1870 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  There are only 37 BROWNs in the census born in CO, none of whom are named Marion.  Wm. C. GRIBBLE (æ 34, b. TN) and his wife, Rachel J. (æ 34, b. MO), are living in Penn Twp., Sullivan Co., MO (p. 238B) with their children. 

3.  1880 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  There is no BROWN in the census born in CO with parents also born in CO.  Rosa GRIBBLE (æ 9, b. MO) is living in Mussel Fork Twp., Chariton Co., MO (p. 526D), with her parents, Wm. C. GRIBBLE (æ 45, b. TN) & Rachel (æ 35, b. MO), plus siblings.
