BROWN (b. 1852/3 in Madison Co., IL) who married in 1876 in Greene Co., MO, to Harriet "Ettie" FOWLER; and they're confusing our subject with the Franklin Pierce BROWN (b. Aug 1853 in Pickaway Co., OH) who married Julia Barbara SCHULTZ.  These are different men.
