Obituary BROWN, Otis Rasey was born December 31, 1832 in Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York the son of Willard Brown and Mary "Polly" E. Rasey.  He married Melissa Blue in 1856 in Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan and they were the parents of a daughter, Anna Gertrude (Charles Thorpe Fonda).  He divorced Melissa in 1858.  He married Nancy J. Mallonee February 26,1861 in Cass County, Missouri and they were the parents of five children, Harriet (Newton Jerome Wagner), Elizabeth (George Hardsog), Walter, Madge (William Anderson Miskimen) and Charles.  He was a house carpenter and in his later years ran a rooming house in Aurora, Illinois.  He affiliated with Euclid Lodge July 16, 1918 from Fox Lake Lodge No. 67, Fox Lake, Wisconsin.  He died August 10, 1919 in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois and was buried in the Spring Lake Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois.  Members of Euclid Lodge performed the Masonic Funeral service at the grave.
