Harry BAIN
Margaret May STRAUB
Grace B. WHEELER
Husband:  Harry HAMILTON - BAIN / BANE / BAINE
Birth:  15 Apr 1876, Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH

Occupation:  worked for brick and tile company
Military Service:  Spanish-American War

Father apparentlyElisha HAMILTON, a.k.a., Elijah HAMBLETON

Although Harry went by surname BAIN, there is reason to believe Greenberry BAIN was not his biological father because 1) Greenberry and Elizabeth had separated by the 1870 census (before the birth of Harry), where we find Elizabeth BAIN living with Elijah HAMBLETON (a.k.a., Elisha HAMILTON); and 2) in the 1880 census, Harry is surnamed HAMILTON, even though Elizabeth is still surnamed BAIN, indicating Elizabeth and Elisha/Elijah had never married, but that Harry was his child (likewise, Harry's sister Lillie).

HARRY BAIN, 53, DIES WEDNESDAY OF BRIEF ILLNESS

Henry Bain, 53, of 1169 Eastman Street, died at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning at Bethesda Hospital. He had been stricken ill suddenly Sunday evening and death came unexpectedly.

He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and was well known in this city, having formerly been an employee of the Mosaic Tile Company.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his widow of the home, are three sons, Albert and William of Columbus, and Bert of the home; one daughter, Miss_Pauline Schultz of the home; one brother, Charles Bain, this city, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Lupton of Muncie Ind.

The body was removed to the Timmer Funeral Home, 821 Market Street, but will be returned late this evening to the home on Eastman Street, where it will remain until 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.  Funeral services will be held at that hour at the Trimmer chapel.  Rev. Charles J. Bowen, First Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be made in Greenwood.

Pauline is married, and she's Harry's step-daughter, not his biological child.
