Joseph ANDREWS
Mary __?__ |
Warning: secondary sources
have confused Joseph's wife, Mary, with the Mary DOSBAUGH / DOSHBAUGH who
married first in 1855 to William
Daniel CROUCH and second in 1877 to John
L. ANDREWS. Both women are enumerated in the 1880 Census,
so they cannot possibly be the same person. Joseph and Mary are in
Cleveland, OH; Mary (DOSBAUGH) CROUCH — now divorced from John L. ANDREWS
— is living in Johnson Twp., Clark Co., IL.
My take on why I can't find a marriage record for our subjects is that they were married before they left Germany. I really, really tried to find them in the 1870 and 1900 Censuses, but failed. If you can document more of this page, please share, but my interest here is Mary (DOSBAUGH) CROUCH. I've proven she was the wife of John L. ANDREWS (see his family group sheet), not Joseph ANDREWS, so I'm not expending any more effort on this page. |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
