COURT.

On Wednesday at 2 p.m., Enoch H. Young was brought into Court, and the motion for continuance of his trial was decided.  The Judge remarking that "for prudential reasons it is better not to state full why this case should be continued.  It is sufficient to say that from the showing made the case ought to and must be continued to the next term of this Court.  The case will, therefore, be set for trial on Monday, the 14th day of June 1880."  When the prisoner, Enoch H. Young, entered the Court room, his council, Capt. Scofield greeted him with a hearty shake of the hand, and some one just behind our reporter said, "Look there by the stand, the Captian will never let up, he is bound to have a fair trial for his man."  After disposing of Young's case, the Court inquired of the Prosecutor what disposition he desired, should be made of the case Houseworth.  When after a brief conference with Mr. Davis, his assistant, he reported "ready for trial."  Mr. Van Fleet then said, "we want this showing to go for continuance of Houseworth's trial."  Davis replied, then it must appear as upon your showing and your request.  Mr. Payne the principal counsel for Houseworth then said, "It may so appear we want to the case continued," and the Court set the trial of Houseworth for June 22d, 1880.  It is claimed by the friends of Enoch H. Young that when his case is presented on trial, there will be a revolution in public sentiment.  We have no opinion to express.  Let the boys have a full, fair and impartial trial as they are entitled to by law, then all good citizens will abide the result without fault-finding.
