BATEMAN... THOMAS, Concord, freem. 18 May 1642, d. 6 Feb. 1669, aged 51, leav. by Martha, s. Thomas, Peter, wh. d. at Woburn 13 Feb. 1676, John, and Ebenezer; beside ds. Martha, Eliz. wh. was b. 6 Mar. 1660, and Sarah. eight days bef. he d. all these are nam. in his will. WILLIAM, Charlestown 1638, had long bef. been in the Col. as he was adm. freem. 18 May 1631, so that he prob. came in the fleet with Winth. perhaps rem. to Chelmsford, tho. as two of the name were in Mass. it is uncert. for WILLIAM of Concord, br. of thomas, was prob. the freem. of 2 June 1641 (since his name in the list is next to that of William Hunt of C.), yet he rem. to Fairfield 1650, or earlier |
