Sources:
1. 1850 Census Index/Microfilm (online at GenealogyLibrary.com): Marshall Co., KY, p. 474, 603/604, enumerated 2 Sep 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen). This census taker enumerated male children before female children, so the children are listed in two chronological sequences, not one:
2. LDS. Ancestral File and IGI (online). The AF has William Harrison WYATT born in North Carolina, the eldest son of James M. WYATT, and deceased in 1837. But as shown by William and Susan's 1850 Census record, he was born in Kentucky, not North Carolina, and obviously, he did not die in 1837. For these reasons and others, William Harrison WYATT, husband of Susan Caroline BAZZELL, is believed to be the son of McGilvery and Lucretia (DUNN) WYATT. Whether or not James M. WYATT also had a son William Harrison WYATT is uncertain, at least to me. |
