...my early information was from a history of my John Thompson family published in 1966.  Have found a lot of errors in it. One glaring one: Elizabeth Wilson, dau of Capt. John Thompson and Mary Jeffers, was married to Berry A. Wilson, not Thomas Wilson, and they had no children.  The children named in the 1966 history were children of Thomas Wilson and another Elizabeth Thompson.
