Hiram S. WILKINSON
Sarah CORBIN
Please Note:  secondary sources are mixing up our subjects with two other WILKINSON families, one of Scott Co., MS — our subjects were never in Mississippi — the other James & Mariah WILKINSON of Greene Co., OH.  These are three different families.

  2.  Eusebius / Eucebius / Eucebus Loman WILKINSON, b. 1845/6; d. 17 Mar 1920, IN; m. Elizabeth J. DANNER (1847-1923)
  3.  (Child) WILKINSON, b. ca. 1848; died young

10.  Ocran WILKINSON, b. 1861; d. 19 Mar 1865

The closest recognized name I could find to Eucebus was Eusebius, an early historian of the Christian Church.
In the 1900 Census, Sarah states she'd had ten children and lost three; she was having them at two-year intervals, so I'm assuming there was a child born ca. 1848.

Others in Household:
Grandson:  William Dennis "Willie" PRITCHARD, b. 15 Jan 1870, Ritchie Co., WV
Adopted Daughter:  Mary McINTIRE / McENTIRE, b. 1865/6

CHAPTER XIII

Husher's Run

This stream is a tributary of Bond's creek... [and] though it is but a small stream, it drains a fertile region, and not a few prominent pioneer names have an association with its history...

p. 214 The Corbins have been prominent citizens of the county for sixty years, and in this chapter they claim a place...

[one paragraph on George & Sarah (JENNINGS) CORBIN, parents of John W. CORBIN]

[two paragraphs on John W. & Rebecca (WILLIAMS) CORBIN, parents of Sallie (CORBIN) WILKINSON]

Sallie Corbin, the eldest [of 13], who was born on February 16, 1820, married Hiram Wilkinson, and after a long residence here, they removed to Salem, where she died in December, 1902.  Her family consisted of nine children:  Loman, of Indiana; Celia (Mrs. Fenton Elifritz), of Ohio; Mary (Mrs. A.J. Pritchard), of Parkersburg; Rachel (Mrs. Wm. Childres), of Salem; Frances (Mrs. Benjamin Crouser), Parkersburg; Benjamin, Daniel, Josephus, and Ocran Wilkinson.  The last two named died in childhood.
