There were also ten servants/lodgers in the hotel, none of whom appear to be kin, so I did not extract the entire record. Their Occidental Hotel is enumerated next door to the Union Hotel, at the corner of Front and Locust Streets, which enumeration includes a J.A. STRAUB as Servant (male; single; b. Oct 1869, PA; parents b. PA), who appears to be Etta's brother, Joseph Allen STRAUB.
