The month for Viola is in the column labeled: "If born within the year, state month (Jan., Feb., etc.)."  If Viola was born with the last 12 months and in Sept, she had to have been born in Sept 1869, but that would make her 11 months old, not eight months old, so go figure.  Her death record says she was born in 1870.

The census-taker has switched the birthplaces of Zelie's parents, and I'll bet the granddaughter was born in Ohio, not Montana.

BRIDGE Marilla B. Genealogy of the John Bridge Family by Will Dawson Bridge, Cambridge, Mass., 1924, p. 346.
Iden's mother was Marilla BRIDGE, so this source is obviously worth tracking down because it probably gives her ancestry and obviously gives at least some of her descendants.
