Hammett TRIMBLE
Sarah Jane HOWARD |
Please Note: We have one weak link here, namely, the one between our subject and his parents, Joseph & Catherine (CARRICO) TRIMBLE, whose son's given name in the 1850 census is clearly given as "Harriet," and is then not entirely readable in the 1860 census — the only two censuses where he appears with his parents. Unfortunately, I can't find our subject and his family in the 1870 census, then he's apparently deceased before the 1880 census. There is no question that a man named Hamit TRIMBLE married Sarah Jane HOWARD as all other records point to some form of that given name. "Hammett" is the most common spelling variation, so I went with that here. We'd really like to have something additional to link our subject to his parents (e.g., a parent's will or the alleged family bible — see parents' page). On the other hand, perhaps I'm being too conservative here because there is no Hammett TRIMBLE (or other variation) in the 1850 or 1860 censuses, so if he's not the son of Joseph & Catherine, where was he? |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
