Daniel THURLOW
Nancy BROWN
Note:  I'm not entirely satisfied with this family group sheet and the one for Charles R. HALL, but I can't pursue this any further because my only reason for creating these two sheets was to show that this Nancy BROWN cannot possibly be the daughter of Willard & Mary (RASEY) BROWN as some secondary sources are showing.
Husband:  Daniel THURLO / THURLA / THORLO / THURLOW
Birth according to 1850 census:  1806/7, OH
Birth said to be:  16 Jan 1807 or 16 Mar 1807, Boscawen, Merrimack Co., NH
Death:  1 Oct 1851
Disposition:  buried Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Big Island Twp., Marion Co., OH
Occupation:  farmer, inn keeper
Father:  Silas THORLA / THURLO (1775-1823)
Mother:  Susannah SWEATT / SWETT (1776-1856)
Marriage:  24 Mar 1826, Morgan Co., OH
Wife:  Nancy BROWN
Birth:  1807/8, PA
Death:  12 Dec 1876
Disposition:  buried Hopeville Cemetery, Hopeville, Clarke Co., IA
Occupation:  homemaker

Father:  Solomon BROWN (1784-1865)
Mother:  Rachel McNUTT (1784-1843)

Parents cannot possibly be: Willard BROWN (1806/7-1860s) & Mary RASEY (1808-1868), whose daughter, Nancy, was born in 1844/5 in OH.

Children — born in OH:
1.  Elizabeth THURLOW, b. 12 Mar 1827
2.  Ruth Amanda THURLOW, b. 26 Feb 1829; d. 10 Dec 1913, Des Moines, Polk Co., IA
3.  John Wesley THURLOW, b. 1 Feb 1832; d. 11 Apr 1911; m. Amanda M. OFFICER (1832-1922)

9.  Silas C. THURLOW, b. 1847/8; d. 3 Aug 1887, Pleasant Twp., Union Co., IA

Elizabeth is said to have died in 1848, but clearly she is still alive in the 1850 census.
