1. Letter from Kate (MOREHART) THOMPSON to her brother, Lindsey T. MOREHART, dated Jan 1925, in the possession of Nancy Straub Holben, who kindly shared digital images of the pages (9 Jul 2001). 2. Jordan R. Dodd, ed. 1998. Marriage Index: Ohio, 1851-1900. Liahona Research, Orem, UT (Broderbund CD-236): not found. 3. 1900 Census Index/Microfilm (online at Genealogy.com): 861 Wilson [St.], Findlay City, Ward 5, Findlay Twp., Hancock Co., OH, p. 206B, SN 17, SD 7, ED 62, enumerated 14 Jun 1900, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1900 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
4a. Ohio 1910 Census Miracode Index (online at Ancestry.com): I could not find William or Catharine under any conceivable search parameters. I eventually found them only by doing a page-by-page search for 861 Wilson St., where they lived in the 1900 and 1920 censuses — thankfully, they stayed put! In this 1910 record (see next source) there was a Freda JONES living with them. Oddly, I could find Freda with a search, and even more oddly, she is listed as "living alone" and "head of household." Go figure… 4b. 1910 Census Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #14 of 34): 861 Wilson [St.], Findlay City, Ward 4, Pct. 5. 1920 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #19 of 30): 861 Wilson Street, Findley City, Ward 4, Precinct C, Hancock Co., OH, p. 177A, SH 10A, SD 7, ED 62, enumerated 20 Jan 1920, official enumeration date 1 Jan 1920 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control. |
