[John] Wesley THOMPSON

Normally, the disording of children reflects another marriage by the husband and/or the wife, but Wesley's wife appears to be the same woman he was married to in 1870, though the discrepancies in ages makes it hard to be certain.  Is this the same Tom from 1870, with a big mistake in his age?  Or did the other Tom die?
