Thomas P. THOMPSON
Susan A. STRONG
WARNING:  this Thomas P. THOMPSON is being confused with the Thomas P. THOMPSON who married Simmie Ann [STRONG?].  Despite the similarities, these are two different couples.  But the question then becomes whether the parents purported to being Simmie Ann's are really Susan's.  Or are Susan and Simmie Ann sisters?  Given that our subject disappears between 1860 and 1870, while the other Thomas P. THOMPSON disappeared before the 1860 census, it seems more likely to me that our subject is the Thomas P. THOMPSON who died in the Civil War in 1861.
