Wife:  Ms. __?__

WARNING:  I have no proof that John and Joel are brothers; the evidence is entirely circumstantial and not conclusive; it's merely a possibility.
1.  John THOMPSON, b. 1773/4, North CarolinaA
2.  Joel THOMPSON, b. 1765-1784B

Comments:

A.  Thought by some to be the brother of James Mims THOMPSON, Sr., but I cannot reconcile the birth of the above John in North Carolina with the birth of James Mims THOMPSON, Sr., and all his siblings in Mecklenburg Co., VA, not to mention the death of their parents in Mecklenburg Co., VA.

B.  There is a Joel THOMPSON who gave bond for the marriage of the above John THOMPSON..  Joel is much too young to be the father of John, so is he a brother?  He's the right age.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control again.
