2.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  John TIDMORE (æ 18, b. AL) is living in Cherokee Co., AL, with his parents, John TIDMORE (æ 49, b. SC) & Nancy (æ 46, b. SC), plus siblings.  Listed four households from R. Jane CORBIN's brother, James CORBIN.

3.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #9 of 33):  Hokes Bluff P.O., First District, Cherokee Co., AL, Roll M653_5, p. 214, PN 22, 130/130, enumerated 11 Jun 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•

Argent is indexed "Regent," and that's what I thought it was at first, but a closer inspection shows her name is given as, "Argent."  I seriously doubt that Adam was born in SC.  Rebecca CORBIN was born in SC, and it's a virtual certainty she is Argent's mother.  Emanuel had to have been born in GA, like his sister.
