Mr. Lloyd Shepherd Tanner, age 80, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, August 21, 1999.  Mr. Tanner was born July 31, 1919 in Haralson County.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Lockheed aircraft.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Tanner and Nancy Stroup Tanner. Surviving are: son, Van Tanner of Clearwater, Fla.; sister, Wadie Weaver; brother, Elmer Tanner of Mableton; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nephews.  A private service was held by the family.  Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
