Who is Alta? Sarah is too old to be her mother. Sarah's son, Jacob R. STROUP, had a daughter, Mary Alta STROUP, but she was born in 1900, so is too young to be Roy's wife, but it does show the name ran in the family. If Frank's parents were born in TN, then he can't be either Roy's or Alta's brother.
