6.  Anon.  Tuesday, 12 Sep 1939.  "Children Get Estate." Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Illinois), 76th Year, No. 215, p. 1 (online at Ancestry.com):

Children Get Estate
The will of Mrs. Bertha L. Straube, Foster township, who died on August 25, was filed Monday in the probate court.  The petition is set for hearing on October 10.  Under terms of the will the estate which is valued at $3500 was left to her husband, Oswald Straube, who died on August 10, 1923.  A codicil was added providing that the property go to two children.
Oswald was alive for the 1930 census, so the date given here is obviously wrong; see next item.

7.  Anon.  Saturday, 23 Mar 1940.  "Two Children Get Estate."  Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Illinois), 77th Year, No. 71, p. 1 (online at Ancestry.com):

Two Children Get Estate
The will of Oswald F. Straube, Alton, was filed in the probate court here Friday and the petition to probate has been set for hearing on April 22.  Straube died on February 17.  The will left the estate to his wife, Mrs. Bertha L. Straube but she preceded her husband in death.  A codicel provides for distribution of the property between two children.
There are additional items in the Intelligencer that I did not extract because none of them contained additional genealogical information.
