Isabella must be fibbing about her age in the 1850 census because she surely didn't marry Joseph FLOOD at age 14.  Mary's age in 1850 may be incorrect, too, because in the 1840 census, she was born 1820-25.

These data indicate:

2 males 9 or under 1810-1820 = James (b. 1818)

1 female 26-44 1775-1794 = Mary (b. 1791)
1 person engaged in agriculture
STRAWBERRY is an extremely rare variant of STRAUBE (which is pronouned in two syllables, not one).  In fact, the only other place I've seen STRAWBERRY used is by Christian's mother, when she remarried after the death of Christian's father.

3.  1830 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #104 of 130; Franklin County was not enumerated by township, and the entire county was roughly alphabetized as one; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•

Some of the children are tallied in the wrong age classes, but there can be no doubt these are our subjects.
