THE STEAM SHOVEL'S DEAD.

Floral Wreathes Are Placed on Their Graves as a Token of Memory.

The employes of the Marion Steam Shovel company have inaugurated a commendable custom.  It is decorating the graves of their dead with wreathes of flowers.
The Steam Shovel's dead now number nine and this forenoon, without display or parade, committees were sent out, and beautiful floral wreathes were tenderly laid on their graves in memory of the time when they were companions in the duties of their daily labor.
The following is a list of their dead:  H.M. Barnhart, Jacob Keiler, Wm. Straub, Benj. Oborn, John Dombaugh, Henry Knickle, William Vestal, Green Camp; Charles Watters, St. Mary's; Frank Rhoads, Cochranton.  The wreaths were sent to the last three places, and here, too, the sweet tokens of memory will be laid on their graves.

Is this our subject?
