Catharina is said to have been age 89 at death, but I suspect her age was inflated because that would have made her a decade younger than her husband.

•  "Staigmuehle" appears to be a mis-transcription of "Steigemühle."  "Steige" is German for "climb," which refers to the steeply inclining road and railway in the area, while "mühle" is German for "mill."
•  Oechsle and Oechsslen appear to be interchangeable in these records, so this Catharina may be Daniel's wife.  Kaspar OECHSSLEN appears in other records as Caspar ÖCHSLE.

4.  WFM:  Daniel Straub.  Geschichtsbüro Reder, Roeseling & Prüfer, Cologne, Germany (online at www.geschichtsbuero.de), excerpts, with Google translations on the right.
From what I can gather based on a Google translation, this article is about the chapel/mausoleum erected by our subjects in honor of their only son, Heinrich STRAUB, who died in Kairo (Cairo, Egypt?) at the age of 37.
Kapital 1
p. 6
On 26 July 1836 married Daniel Straub Catharina Oechsle, the daughter of Geislinger Kapellmüllers.  Linking the two Mueller family was especially economically useful, because then came the two local mills together.  The Kapellmüller Oechsle had two daughters and looked for a suitable successor to his Operation.
First was to explore the Straub'schen grave chapel on the cemetery Geislinger.  Peter Lecjaks mentioned among other things that the owner of this grave chapel, Daniel Straub on First July 1845, the first son of the mold Kaspar Müller Straub was born and already with 21 years Anna Katharina Oechsle, married the only daughter of Geislinger Kapell-miller Luke Oechsle. To remind him today in the renovated premises of Kapell-MAG mühlsaal.

7.  In the trivia department...
In 1963, when I "left the nest" and set up housekeeping for the first time, I bought a set of "high end" German stainless flatware manufactured by WMF, totally unaware at the time that the company had been founded by a STRAUB.  I use the set (with pride) to this day as my only set of flatware.  The pieces hardly look a day older than when I bought them, and I continue to add pieces to the set — deeply regreting I didn't buy 12 place settings, instead of just 8, and that I didn't buy all the serving pieces available at the time (e.g., a single teaspoon, today, will set you back $80 at Replacements Ltd.!).  See this page for some discussion about this stainless.
WMF stainless is actively bought and sold at eBay, but note that some people mistakenly think WMF stands for "William Fraser."  As you can see above, WMF stands for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik.  Fraser's Ltd. (now defunct, but formerly in New York) was at one time the U.S. importer / distributor of WMF stainless sold as "Fraser's WMF," hence the mistaken interpretation.  WMF is now distributed in the U.S. by WMF Americas in North Carolina.
