John Charles SWANGEL
Elizabeth STROUP Agnes LEE |
Husband: Johann Carl / John Charles SWANGEL / SWANGLE / SWENGEL
Birth: 1780-90 Death: 1840-50 |
Marriage-1: 3 Jan 1833, Harrison Co., OH |
Wife-1: Elizabeth STROUP
Birth: ca. 1814 Death said to be: 1839 Said by some to be a daughter of "Barney STROUP," but the Bernard STROUP I know about (the one in Blair Co., PA), had no daughters in the 1830 census, plus, Bernard lived out his life in Blair County, making it extremely unlikely that he had a daughter married in Ohio. Other sources suggest a connection to Benjamin STRAUB, but this couple is too young to have a daughter married in 1833; plus, by 1830 they were living in Fairfield Co., OH, and from there they moved to Hancock Co., OH, then Michigan. |
Marriage-2: 21 Nov 1839, Harrison Co., OH |
Wife-2: Agnes / Agness LEE
Birth: 1810-20 Other Spouse: m1. 16 Dec 1830, Harrison Co., OH, Isaac SUDDITH / SUTHARD |
Children with Elizabeth STROUP: |

2. Sarah Ann SWANGEL, b. 1830-35; m. James Cloice JOHNSON 3. Nancy SWANGEL, b. 1830-35; m. Ananais ORRISON |

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
