Mary A. Bush was born in 1822 in Woodburg, Conn.  She died on 15 Apr 1904 in Huntington, Cabell Co., WV.

MRS. STODDARD DIED TODAY; LOVABLE WOMAN BREATHED HER LAST AT AN EARLY HOUR THIS MORNING.

Mrs. Mary A. Stoddard died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Gus H. Honshell on Fourth Ave. this morning at fifteen
minutes before five o'clock after a serious illness of only a few days. While she has been an invalid for many years Mrs. Stoddard's condition was not considered serious until a few days ago when it became apparent that she was slowly sinking and that she would soon cross the river dividing life from death. During Thursday evening and night she continually grew weaker and this morning breathed her last.  She passed away peacefully with not a groan or a murmer but with a smile, upon her face that was characteristic of her whole life.

Mrs. Stoddard was born eighty-two years ago in Woodburg Connecticut.  Her maiden name was Miss Mary A. Bush.  She married in New Haven Connecticut to Mr. Seth Stoddard, a brother of Mrs. D. W. Emmons of this city.  Three daughters survive the union. Mrs. Gus H. Honshell and Mrs. Willis E. Parsons, of this city, and Mrs. Ida Hawley, of Hawleyville, Connecticut.

After her husband's death Mrs. Stoddard came to this city where she made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Honshell for more than twenty years.  Mrs. Stoddard was a woman of a lovable character and a sweet disposition, that endeared all to her and which made friends of all whom she came in contact.

The funeral services will be held next Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence on Fourth Ave. conducted by Rev. John T. Gibson rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church.  The remains accompanied by the family and friends will be taken to Catlettsburg where the interment will made in the Honshell burial lot.
