HONSHELL, WASHINGTON Captain: Irontown Register, MAY 30, 1896
I.R. June 04, 1896 He had reached the age of 71 years. Riverboatman. Does not name wife or children. Funeral held at the home in Catlettsburg, Ky. Burial in the village cemetery. (His children were: Fannie Honshell Williamson; Nannie Scott Honshell Kelly Wright; Gus Honshell married Clara Stoddard, a niece of Colis P. Huntington and Kate Honshell married Millard F. Hampton.) See: I.R. Oct. 10, 1889 - 39th anniversary of Capt. And Mrs. Honshell - this is in the article 10th Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Kelly.

Friday afternoon, Mrs. Honshell, widow of the late Commodore Honshell, and mother of Mrs. Lindsey Kelly of this city, died at her home in Catlettsburg, after a long illness. The deceased was almost 70 years old and was a native of this county.
