Elias & Ann GOODSON are Margaret's parents.

3.  1860 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #15 of 184 — indexed "B. W. Steward"):  Natchitoches P.O., Natchetoches Par., LA, Roll M653_414, p. 441, PN 15, 118/118, enumerated 28 Aug 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

Cena/Sena and John are Minerva's children from her prior marriage, and I'm wondering if Jefferson might be also.

4.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #15 of 26):  Conchatta Chute P.O., Ward 2, Natchitoches Par., LA, Roll M593_518, p. 327A, PN 15, 111/111, enumerated 5 Jul 1870, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1870 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

Who is Norrell?  He wasn't in the household in 1860.  The two KIRBIN children are Mary's from her prior marriage.  John RICHMOND is the son of Robert's prior wife with her prior husband.  The fact that Jefferson isn't listed down with John RICHMOND suggests he really is Robert's son.

5.  1880 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #27 of 48):  Precinct No. 7, Red River Co., TX, Roll T9_1324, p. 306C, PN 27, SD 2, ED 105, enumerated 17 Jun 1880, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1880 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

M.C. is probably Margaret C., but who is N.R.?  And why in the world has the enumerator surnamed these two children WEAVER?  Horris must be Horace, but who is Mary?  Listed next to A. G. STEWARD (æ 24, b. LA), whose wife is "Lou J., " so is she his second wife or is Sarah THOMPSON his second wife?
