John SIAS
Lucinda DUDLEY

11.  Jane Amanda SIAS, b. 6 Nov 1837, Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI; d. 2 Feb 1919, Topeka, KS; m. Francis CARTER (1824-1893)

I doubt if John and Lucinda moved to Avon, then back to Dansville, then back to Avon again.  The birthplace of either Mary Ann or James is probably incorrect, if not others as well, especially considering their location in the the 1830 Census.  An examination of the tax rolls should tell us when they moved from Dansville to Avon.

The first letter of her name looks like a "C," though it is not this scribe's typical "C," but neither is it at all like this scribe's "L's" (many examples of which are available in the word, "Laborer").  Two doors down from brother, Solomon SIAS, Jr.

A file there says the daughter is "Mentwell."  It's clear from the data contained in the record there that it is based entirely on the 1850 census record above.
