"Closky" appears to be a misreading of Clarky.

3.  1840 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find James SANDERSON (the J.J. SANDERSON in Madison Co., AL, is not only too young to be our subject, he has no wife or children).  There is a James SANDERSON in Stewart Co., TN, the right age to be the one born in 1792; maybe Louis really was born in TN.  William CURRY (æ 40-50, with wife and children) is living in Franklin Co., AL (pp. 225B-226A). 

4.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Lewis N. SANDERSON (æ 8, b. AL) is living in Limestone Co., AL (p. 62A), with his widowed mother, Clarky SANDERSON (æ 31, b. AL), plus siblings.  Mary CURRY (æ 2, b. AL) is living in Franklin Co., AL (p. 132B), with her parents, Wm. CURRY (æ 60, b. NC) & Elizabeth (æ 47, b. NC), plus siblings.

5.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find Louis.  Clarkey SANDERSON (æ 40, b. AL) is living in Limestone Co., AL (p. 405B).  Betty CURRY (æ 13, b. AL — indexed "Carry") is living in Franklin Co., AL (p. 643A), with her widowed mother, Elizabeth (æ 45, b. AL), plus siblings.
