David Corbin RUPERT
Anna Eliza MOHLER
Husband:  David Corbin RUPERT
Birth:  19/29 Sep 1847, Henderson Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA
Death:  1 Jun 1921, presumably in Mifflin Co., PA
Occupation:  school teacher, farmer
Religion:  Deacon, Spring Run Church of the Brethren
Father:  (Johann) Adam RUPERT
Mother:  Elizabeth Jane CORBIN
Marriage:  18 Jan 1868, Mifflin Co., PA
Wife:  Anna/Ann Elisabetha/Elizabeth/Elisa/Eliza MOHLER, a.k.a., Elizabeth Ann MOHLER, Elsie MOORE
Birth:  11 Oct 1847, Mifflin Co., PA
Death:  6 May 1925, presumably in Mifflin Co., PA
Occupation:  homemaker
Father:  Joseph MOHLER
Mother:  Sarah STROUP
According to a file submitted to WorldConnect, our subjects adopted these five children:
.  David Corbin MOHLER-RUPERT, b. 21 Dec 1887; d. 5 Jan 1944; bur. Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown, Mifflin Co., PA; m. Alice Kathrine STINE (1889-1963)
.  Merrell GEIST
.  Elsie YOCUM
.  Helen STRAUSS, b. 1894/5, PA
.  Grace STRAUSS

As only David appears to have changed his name to RUPERT, it may be that only David was legally adopted and that the others simply lived with them.  I have no explanation for the discrepancy between David's age and birthdate in the 1900 census (viz., æ 18, b. Jun 1881) and other records, beyond an error in the 1900 census or that these are different persons.

Others in Household:
Niece(?):  Nellie MOHLER, b. 1869/70, PA
