3. 1910 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): not found, and I really looked. Elmer is deceased, so is Mary also? And where are the children? At least two survived to marry.

4. 1920 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): not found, and with given names like Karlton and Ruby, they should have been easy to find!

5. 1930 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): Karlton E. ROWELL (æ 35, NE/IA/PA) and wife Ruby are living in McCook City (Ward 2), Red Willow Co., NE (p. 238A). Can't find Verna.
