Only Walter is Julia's child, and they've only been married five years, not ten.  It seems the enumerator mistakenly tallied Thomas's children in Columns 11 and 12.  They are listed next to newlyweds William H. HARRIS (æ 21, b. Aug 1878, GA) and his wife, "Vader" (æ 16, b. Feb 1884, GA).  "Vader" is Laveda Bell (THACKER) HARRIS, Julia's daughter from her prior marriage to Dock T. THACKER.  Living with them is a Bettie RAY (æ 12, b. May 1888, GA/GA/GA), shown as Williams "sister-in-law."  Actually, it appears Bettie is Laveda's stepsister, not her biological sister.  Although Bettie's birthdate would be a conflict with that of Mary E. (because May and August 1888 are less than nine months apart), I suspect either enumerator error or Mary E. is Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" RAY, and they are the same person, enumerated twice.  I suspect the latter because, along with eldest daughter Hulda, who is living in 1900, it would bring the total of Thomas's surviving children to six.

Julia had a total of two children.  I haven't checked to see if her daughter, Laveda, is still alive.  Laurence should be surnamed, CRANE.
