Unless Ida was not born in Aug 1866 and she was not age 4 in the 1870 census, she has to be Jane's step-daughter, not her daughter.  Listed next to Jane's apparent ex-husband, Jery H. KING (æ 55, b. WV) who is married to a 29-yr-old wife and has a four-yr-old child.  Why did Jane go back to using her second husband's surname?  Was that part of the divorce settlement from KING?  It's a bit unkind to her son, Jerry, who must have had to grow up perpetually explaining why his mother wasn't "Mrs. KING."
