6. Messages in the Hicks Family Genealogy Forum (online at GenForum.com). A message there states that "Mrs. M. H. McCune" married "F. M. Hicks" on 24 Dec 1880 in Dallas Co., MO. Says they had one daughter together, who married a TIMME. 7. Messages in the Phillips Family Genealogy Forum (online at GenForum.com). A message there states that the marriage to "F. M. Hicks" was annulled because he was a bigamist. 8. Messages in the McCune Family Genealogy Forum (online at GenForum.com). Message #847 there states that that John McCUNE married "Missouri A. Russell." However in a private email, that same poster now tells me there is no proof her maiden name was RUSSELL. 9. Email from Holly Miles. Alerted me to Missouri having maiden name BOOTH and that the RUSSELLs were her step-parents, which explains why so many people had RUSSELL as her maiden name. |
Because my interest here is STROUP, I opted not to create pages for
the BOOTHs and the RUSSELLs, but here are the census records I gathered
in the process of researching Missouri (BOOTH-RUSSELL) McCUNE HICKS STROUP

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
