2.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Caroline McCOOL (2/12, PA) is living in Cranberry Twp., Venango Co., PA (p. 25B), with William McCOOL (28, PA) and his presumed wife, Susanna (22, PA); however, the full household is difficult to unravel, especially in light of other censuses.  It's a can of worms I'm going to forego unraveling.

3.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Caroline McCOOL (10, PA) is living in Cranberry Twp., Venango Co., PA (p. 179) with William P. McCOOL (41, PA), and Matilda (40, NY).  Matilda is said to be the widow of John TOY (HOY?), but the problem is, William is said to have married her in 1841.

4.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Caroline McCOOL (20, PA) is living in Cranberry Twp., Venango Co., PA (p. 247A), with William McCOOL (50, PA) and Matilda (50, PA).

5.  1880 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find, and I really looked.

This enumerator's handwriting was atrocious.  I have no idea how (in)accurate my extraction might be.  If Caroline was truly born in 1851, she's not the girl in the 1850 census.
