MRS. MAYFIELD DIES SUDDENLY

Drops Dead at Home of Relative at
Cardington.
Mrs. Richard Mayfield, aged sixty- seven years, a sister of S.T. Elliott, of Oney avenue, dropped dead while at the sickbed of a relative, G.W. Thompson, at Cardington, Sunday afternoon.  Her death was due to heart trouble.

Mrs. Mayfield lived at Magnetic Springs, where the remains will be taken for interment.  The deceased was well known in Marion.  She was a cousin of Mrs. John D. Owens and T.J. and James Osborne, of this city.

"S.T." is her half-brother, Shannon T. ELLIOTT.  Mrs. John D. OWENS is her first cousin, Mary Belle (OSBORN) OWENS, who is sister of "T.J." (Thomas Jefferson) OSBORN and James OSBORN, children of Addison & Elizabeth (THOMPSON) OSBORN.
