Henry LORD
Chloe GRISWALD
WARNING:  there are many unanswered questions here, so please consider this page tentative.  This is not my family, so I've spent as much time as I can spare on them.  Caveat emptor!
Husband:  Henry LORD

Death apparently:  1875-80, Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY

Father:  Jeremiah LORD, Jr. (1755-1812) — Jeremiah3, Jeremiah2, Nathaniel1 LORD (1603-1690)
Mother:  Tryphena PEASE (1758-1839)
Marriage:
Wife:  Chloe GRISWALD
Birth:  1796/7, VT
Death:  aft. 1880 census
Occupation:  homemaker
Father:  Abel GRISWOLD (1713- )
Mother:  Diedamia / Diademia EASTON
Children:
1.  Nancy G. LORD, b. 28 Oct 1824, VT

3.  Dida Esther LORD, b. Mar 1832, East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT
4.  (Daughter A) LORD, b. 1835-40

Did "Diantha" really exist?  Or is she simply "Dida" with the wrong birthyear?

1830 CT Hartford Co. East Windsor Roll M19_7 p. 172 Ln. 27 Henry Lord 000 001 - 010 001
These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 30-39 1790-1800 = Henry (b. c1799)
1 female 5-9 1820-1825 = Nancy (b. 1824)
1 female 30-39 1790-1800 = Chloe (b. 1796/7)
Listed next to Levi LORD (same age as Henry); there are PARSONS, PHELPS, GRISWALD, and other LORD households nearby.  He's the only Henry LORD indexed in the entire state.

3.  1840 U.S. Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #23-24 of 46 — list was roughly alphabetized; he was indexed "Lood"; official enumeration began 1 Jun 1840; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

I don't know what to make of this record because there are no males tallied in this record.  Is this enumerator error?  Or are Henry and Chloe already estranged, and she's giving her husband's name to the enumerator?  There were eight other LORDs next to them in the listing, but this was the only Henry LORD indexed in the entire state.

4.  1850 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Henry LORD (æ 50, b. CT) is living in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT (p. 51A), with the TERRY family.  There are several GRISWALD households nearby, though I don't find Chloe or the children.  Are Henry and Chloe estranged?

5.  1860 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #9 of 125):  Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, Roll 79 (Book 1), p. 717, 1073/1076, enumerated 12 Jul 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Henry Lord 62 M   Farmer 1200 50 Conn
Clara?  " 63 F         Vt
Dida E  " 28 F         Conn
Mary Neil 28 F         Mass
Sometimes estranged couples get back together as they age, if indeed that was the prior case.  Dida appears to have gotten herself enumerated three times, here with her parents, again with her sister, Nancy (LORD) DURPHY in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA (p. 260), and again at a boarding house in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA (p. 435).
