KELLY, Martha, wid. of Wm. Capt. - of Carroll Co. - 1838-14.
These pensions were granted by resolutions of the State Legislature; the year and number of the resolution are given.  Note that pensions for military service were not automatic.  They were only given in need, so the applicant had to demonstrate they were indigent in order to be considered for one — and except for the wealthy, most widows became indigent.
