Joshua KELLEY
Rebecca ELLIOTT |
WARNING: People have equated this Joshua KELLEY with the Joshua KELLEY who was s/o Joshua, s/o William, and ended up in Owen Co., IN. I cannot rationalize the geography here because that Joshua was born in 1790 in Huntingdon Co., PA, and the family was in Hardin Co., KY, by 1810. What was the younger Joshua doing getting married back in Maryland? Joshua was a popular name in this KELLEY family, so I believe the one who got married in MD in 1812 cannot be the one who was in KY by 1810. One possible candidate is the Joshua KELLEY who was son of Nicholas, s/o William, but he's not the only possibility. What is virtually certain is that this Joshua is the son of one of the KELLEY's who stayed in Baltimore, not the branch of the family that moved west before 1790. |

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
