Leonard JACOBS
Maria Minerva STROPES
Husband:  Leonard JACOBS
Birth:  7 Sep 1818, Jackson Co., OH
Death:  24 Dec 1886, Cainesville, Harrison Co., MO
Occupation:  farmer
Father:  John JACOBS (1788-1864)
Mother:  Susannah TREXLER (1787-1862)
Marriage:  13 Jan 1842, Jackson Co., OH
Wife:  Maria Minerva STROPES
Birth:  1821-23, OH
Death:  1881, Harrison Co., MO
Occupation:  homemaker

Some secondary sources show these parents for Minerva, but Minerva was born before Henry & Tamer were married (in 1824).
Father doubtfullyHenry STROPES
Mother doubtfullyTamer NELSON
Henry & Tamer do have two daughters born 1825-30 whose identities are unknown, so if Minerva were born later she could be their daughter, but it's unusual (in the extreme) for a woman to give an elevated age in the censuses.

It seems more likely to me that Minerva is the daughter of John STROPES & Eleanor FOX, who also have an unidentified daughter, but their unidentified daughter is in the age class 1820-25, as Minerva would be:
Father possiblyJohn STROPES, Sr.
Mother possiblyEleanor FOX

It's going to take stronger evidence (e.g., a will or family bible) to prove the identity of Minerva's parents.
