1b.  Harlan County, Nebraska, Marriage Records (extracted at the County Courthouse in Alma, NE, by Kerry (Willis) Penn):
Marriage License for Maggie Willis and Samuel Hiller.  They were married April 10, 1887 in Orleans, Harlan Co., Nebraska. Parents of Samuel Hiller were listed as Edward Hiller and Mary A. Shriver.  Parents of Maggie Willis were John R. Willis and Sarah Trimball.  Samuel's place of birth was Illinois; Maggie's was Indiana.  Mrs. E.T. Bowyer was the witness, and they were married by W.A. Bowyer, Pastor, M.E. Church.  Samuel and Maggie were both 28 years old.
