1a.  Gary, Cordelia C.  1970.  Marriage Records, 1797-1850, Christian County, Kentucky.  LDS Film No. 0496899:
Thompson, Mary Greenfield, Samuel 12 May 1819 Gideon Thompson
This record is of the permission slip allowing an underage female to marry; Gideon is her father.  (Either Cordelia Gray made a transcription error with the year or I made a mistake taking notes.)

Thompson, Mary & Samuel Greenfield 14 May 1817 15 May 1817 B.H. Reeves
The 14th is the date the bond was posted and the license obtained; the 15th is the date the wedding ceremony was performed, by B.H. Reeves.

2.  Kentucky 1820 Federal Census: Livingston, Logan, Mason, Mercer, and Todd Counties.  Heritage Quest CD M33-26 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen — this record very hard to read; there are more scratches than tick marks):
1820 KY Todd Co. p. 124 line 16 Sam Greenfield 100111-10100
These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 9 or under 1810-1820 = James or Gideon
1 male 19-25* 1794-1801 = ?
1 male 26-44 1775-1794 = Samuel (b. 1791/3)
1 male 45 or over in or bef. 1775 = ?
1 female 9 or under 1810-1820 = Mary Jane
1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = Mary (b. 1800)
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25; therefore, any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  By subtracting the number in column three from the number in column four, you can create an age class "19-25."

3.  1830 Census.  Can't find.  Mary may be widowed at this point and living with some other family, but she's not living with her parents.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control.
