Daniel H. GOODING
Ms. __?__
Mary BENNETT
WARNING:  the 1850 and 1860 censuses do not jibe with regard to the children, so I probably haven't interpreted them correctly.
Husband:  Daniel H. GOODING
Birth:  1809/10, SC
Death:  aft. 1860 census
Occupation:  planter

Not to be confused with Daniel E. GOODING (b. 1805/6, SC), also in the 1850 and 1860 censuses of Prince William Parish, who also had wife, Mary (b. 1807/8, SC).

Marriage-1:
Wife-1:  Ms. __?__
Marriage-2:
Wife-2:  Mary C. BENNETT — a secondary source says she is Mary Elizabeth BENNETT
Birth:  1812/3, SC
Death:  aft. 1860 census
Occupation:  homemaker
Other Spouse:  m1. Mr. SLOAN
Child with Wife-1:
1.  Sarah GOODING, b. 1832/3, SC
Children with Mary BENNETT — born in Prince Williams Parish, Beaufort Dist. [now Hampton Co.], SC:
2.  Richard GOODING, b. 1844/5
3.  Rebecca R. GOODING, b. 1862/3
4.  Sarah P. GOODING, b. 1863/4
Keywords for search engines:  genealogy; USA, US, United States, South Carolina

2.  1840 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #5-6 of 22; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
1840 SC Beaufort Dist. Prince Williams Parish Roll 508 pp. 249A-249B Ln. 16 D. Gooding 221 001 - 221 001 no slaves 0200000
There's only one D. GOODING in the 1840 census of Beaufort District, with no way to tell whether he is Daniel E. GOODING or Daniel H. GOODING, if either.

3.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #1 of 43):  Prince Williams Parish, District of Beaufort, SC, Roll M432_849, p. 15A, 6/6, enumerated 6 Sep 1850, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Daniel H Gooding 40 M   Planter   South Carolina
Mary       " 37 F       "
Manda Stone 17 F       "
Richard Gooding  5 M       "
Sarah     " 17 F       "
I would interpret the order of the children to mean that Manda is Mary's child from a former marriage, that Richard is the child of Daniel & Mary, and that Sarah is Daniel's daughter from a prior marriage.

4.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #25 of 51):  Whippy Swamp P.O., Prince Williams Parish, Beaufort Dist. [now Hampton Co.], SC, Roll M653_1214, p. 85A, PN 23, 184/196, enumerated 28 Sep 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
D H Gooding 49 M   Farmer 1750 800 S Carolina
Mary C    " 47 F         "
Sarah R   " 15 F         "
Rebecca R "  7 F         "
Sarah P   "  6 F         "
It's hard to figure what's going on here.  Has "Richard" morphed into "Sarah R"?!  Listed next to Mary's married daughter, Amanda (SLOAN) CORBIN.
