William FRIZZELL
Martha __?__
Husband:  William FRIZZELL
Birth:  1797/8, VA
Death:  12 Mar 1858, Marshall Co., KY
Occupation:  farmer
Father:  David FRIZELL (1774- )
Mother:  Mary INGALLS
Marriage:  ca. 1822, of Bedford Co., TN
Wife:  Martha __?__
Birth:  1797-1800, NC
Occupation:  homemaker
Children (data in braces are {age, birthplace} from the 1850 Census):
— born in TN, probably Bedford Co.:
  1.  (Daughter A) FRIZZELL, b. 1810-20
  2.  (Son A) FRIZZELL, b. 1815-20
  3.  Richard M. FRIZZELL, b. 1815-20; m. 20 Feb 1840, Calloway Co., KY, Zilpha CHESTER
  4.  (Daughter B) FRIZZELL, b. 1820-25
  5.  Nancy FRIZZELL, b. 1822/3 {27, TN}
  6.  (Daughter C) FRIZZELL, b. 1825-30
  7.  (Son B) FRIZZELL, b. 1825-30
  8.  Calvin FRIZZELL, b. 1827/8 {22, TN

— born in Calloway [now Marshall] Co., KY:
  9.  John FRIZZELL, b. 1830/1 {19, TN}
10.  Melvina FRIZZELL, b. 1833/4 {16, TN}
11.  Rebecca FRIZZELL, b. 1835/6 {14, KY}
12.  Franklin FRIZZELL, b. 1838/9 {11, KY}

The way the enumerator jumbled the order of the children in the 1850 census, it's no wonder some of the birthplaces (and probably dates) are wrong.

Calvin is in the wrong age class.  Listed between newlywed son, Richard M. FRIZZELL (000 010 - 000 100), and McGilbra WYATT

5.  1850 Census Index/Microfilm (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  Marshall Co., KY, p. 484AB, 744/746, enumerated 10 Sep 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
William Frizzell 52 M Farmer Va
Martha     " 42 F   NC
Nancy      " 27 F   Tenn
Melvina    " 16 F    "
Rebecca    " 14 F   Ky
Calvin     " 22 M Farmer Tenn
John       " 19 M   "  "
Franklin   " 11 M   Ky
Mcgilbra W. Wiett  5 M   "
Lawrence W. Ashton 62 M none Va
Martha is fibbing about her age (she is at least 49).  Whose child is McGilbra?  Why is he living with them?  Is Martha perhaps a WYATT?  Otherwise, Lawrence ASHTON is very likely Martha's father.  One secondary source treats McGilbra as a grandchild.  Living two doors down from William C. HOLLAND, who is living next door to John L. HOLLAND.
