Delphia cannot have been born this early if she's our subject's daughter,
and the censuses support this birthyear. I'd peg more likely peg
her as Joseph's sister, not his daughter.
. Delphia Elizabeth FRAZIER, b. 1808 . Sullivan
FRAZIER, b. 26 Dec 1820, IN
I also wonder if Manson isn't their grandson because a birth at age
45/46 is really pushing it for Dorothy (most women have their last child
by age 43).

5. 1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): not found, and I did a page-by-page check of Jefferson Co., MO. In Jefferson Co., MO, there is a widow, Mary FRAZIER (æ 64, b. PA), so we cannot ascribe all the FRAZIERs in Jefferson County to our subject. And the fact that Mary is born in PA and Sullivan FRAZIER gives his parents as born in PA raises the question as to whether he is son of our subject or of Widow Mary. 6. 1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #11 of 27): Hillsboro P.O., Central Twp., Jefferson Co., MO, Roll M653_626, p. 527, PN 11, 68/71, enumerated 21 Aug 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
