Please Note:  people are mixing up our subjects with a Charles Alexander DAVIS (1826-1883) who allegedly married a Nancy Margret BUSH (1823-1901).  Given the birthyears and their different complement of children, these are clearly two different couples — with an amazing coincidence of names.
