Mary Ann (THOMPSON) ERVIN SPICKARD is Delilah's mother, and she had at least 13 children, not one.  Delilah's one child did not survive, unless she is refering to her stepdaughter, Clara.  The DENSLOWs are the orphans of Mary's daughter, Sarah Frances (SPICKARD) DENSLOW.
