2.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find, which I would have taken to mean they were in Kansas, but the earliest I can find Thomas J. DRUMMOND in the Kansas Territorial censuses is 1857 (not found in 1855 or 1856).

3.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  N. DRUMMONDS (æ 17, b. MO) is unmarried and living in Irving Twp., Brown Co., Kansas Territory (p. 597); he is listed next to his father, T.J. DRUMMONDS (æ 38, b. TN) and his wife, Susan A. (æ 34, b. __).

I can't figure Winnie's placement if she's their daughter, especially as the birthplaces of her parents don't jibe with the birthplaces of our subjects.  Is she adopted?  Or is both her placement and the birthplaces  enumerator error?  Listed next to Napoleon's father, T.J. DRUMMOND (æ 59, b. KY) and his wife, Nancy J. (æ 49, b. IN).
